Fergana Eco City: A New Standard for Urban Development in Uzbekistan
The
Fergana Eco City master plan is a large-scale urban architectural project covering
1,300 hectares in the
Fergana region. Developed in
2024, this comprehensive strategy is designed to create a vibrant and environmentally conscious urban district. The project integrates
residential neighborhoods, administrative and commercial hubs, industrial zones, and an extensive network of
eco-parks.
The master plan, designed to accommodate over 160,000 residents, emphasizes a careful balance between urban density and high quality of life. The architectural design features spacious green corridors, recreational parks, residential complexes of varying heights, educational institutions, and business centers, all meticulously planned to create a cohesive urban fabric.
A key architectural and planning consideration was the project’s proximity to the airport. This was addressed through the strategic creation of buffer green zones and noise protection layers, ensuring a tranquil and sustainable environment for future inhabitants. The project also features the New Uzbekistan Park, a 29-hectare centerpiece with cultural and sports facilities, serving as a major public attraction.
With its smart layout, eco-oriented infrastructure, and human-centered design, the Fergana Eco City establishes a new benchmark for modern, livable urban development in Uzbekistan. This project represents a forward-thinking vision that merges contemporary architecture with a deep respect for environmental and community well-being.
