Our architectural bureau team took part in the practical seminar “Regional Master Plans: Application of Advanced Foreign Experience in Uzbekistan.” The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the World Bank, and German Cooperation (GIZ).
The seminar focused on strategic territorial development, regional master plan development methodologies, spatial planning, and data-driven decision-making. It brought together international and local organizations and experts, including specialists from Türkiye (ARUP), France (Groupe Huit), and the United Kingdom (Buro Happold).
During the seminar, we exchanged experience with colleagues, reviewed successful international case studies, and discussed how to adapt advanced approaches to the Uzbekistan context. In particular, we explored practical ways to implement regional master plans effectively, taking into account local regulations, socio-economic factors, infrastructure needs, and delivery mechanisms.
Such professional platforms help build a shared vision for territorial development, strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and support the application of modern methodologies in future master plan development processes.
